SAMSÝNING GESTALISTAMANNA SÍM
Samsýning listamanna sem hafa dvalið og starfað í gestavinnustofum SÍM í febrúar 2021. Verkin á sýningunni eru afrakstur rannsókna og vinnu listamannanna sem hafa að dvalið í mánuð eða lengur hér á landi. Listamennirnir koma frá ólíkum stöðum í heiminum og vinna í hinum ýmsu miðlum. Sýningin verður í SÍM salnum, Hafnarstræti 16, 101 Reykjavík. Opnun verður fimmtudaginn 25. febrúar kl. 14:00 til 20:00 í Hlöðunni - sýningarsalur SÍM á Korpúlfsstöðum Thorsvegur 1, 112 Reykjavik. Léttar veitingar í boði. Listamennirnir verða allir viðstaddir opnunina.

The SIM Residency brings together artists from different countries, all speaking different languages. An essential piece of our program are the conversations around the table; conversations that revolve around art, food, cultural differences, cultural similarities, and language itself. At some point, ‘absolutorium' became the word of the day.

The group exhibition in the SIM exhibition hall at Korpúlfsstaðir summarizes our residency. Despite the pandemic, we managed to come to Iceland, release creative imagination in these spaces, and complete a series of exciting projects that we have the pleasure of sharing with an audience.
We end our time here with this show.

The exhibition will take place at the SIM exhibition hall at Korpúlfsstaðir Thorsvegur 1, 112 Reykjavik. Opening Thursday the 25th of February from 2:00 til 8:00 PM.
