Water and Blood

'Water and Blood' is a two-channel video installation of water and blood, which are ancient Icelandic magical ingredients that can see the world's past and future. In 17th-century Iceland, where sorcery was persecuted, this was preserved by surviving the flames. It requires non-sense preparations such as water from the eyes of a raven and blood from the hearts of men and women who loved each other but never had consummated. After leaving a journey to find magical materials, the artist collects water and blood, which have become metaphors in various forms of fluids between the endless circulation of the sky and the earth.
