Stories of Home and Here: Parts 1 & 2 (Work-In-Progress)
'Stories of Home and Here' is an experimental multi-screen video installation that documents daily rituals and personal environments of four artists living in different cities, exploring their relationships to the idea of “home” while considering ancestry, citizenship, economic realities, and queerness through their creative practices.
The presentation at SIM features works-in-progress of only 2 of a 4-part work. In its full realization, the installation will fill four opposing walls, surrounding the viewer with video and sound.
Featuring the stories of artists Valentin Noujaïm, Rachael Wilson, Judit Kis, and Abel Ortega. With original music by DNZ.
