Sleep Talking to Dilja

I take pills that take away my dreams. Dreaming scares me. But when I’m in bed with a lover, I want so badly to crawl into her head and sit next to her in her dreams and watch her brain piece together her life into fantasies.

For two months, a camera photographed me every time I moved in my sleep. These pictures printed tiny stretched in a line across the wall. Other photographs, taken during my daily life, twined around this line.

I’m in a new country. I’m a little lonely. I want for someone to want to crawl into my dreams. I want to unzip my forehead and let her in. So here is what I might have dream.
