Copper & Steel, 4.5x4x6' (2023)

Q0 is a hanging sculptures that explores anisotropy and birefringence through the use of 2 tones of metal woven in a gradual yet random sequence and can be seen from every perspective.

The base and shape of the sculpture are inspired by recurring semiotic patterns found across science, mythology, and mysticism in Iceland: Scientific diagrams of Iceland Spar, Galdrastafir & Yggdrasil.
