Exploring form, light and color during my stay in Iceland has brought the concept of form as a language to mind. I am interested in isolating facets of buildings, landscapes and moments - bringing them together in different new ways, allowing for an unexpected visual dialogue. Using mediums of layering, collage, painting, and design to appreciate and explore playful connections and compositions. Combining elements of modern design and traditional art practices to achieve works that display a relationship with the linear and the organic, while playing with depth and a color palette inspired by Iceland. The result is a series of 3 dimensional sculptural collages and a series of video collages documenting moments of reflection and connection.
