exerc i c e s of discomfort

if the glacier has a tongue, how about the one sitting comfortably in our mouths?
stick it out and keep it there for over a minute without swallowing...

multimedia exploration "exerc i c e s of discomfort" challenges the eye, the body, and the tongue through the lens of a thermal camera, interaction with a skeletonic structure of scaffolding - the remains, the extension of a glacier, and obsession with one's tongue. Through performative actions, figures, and gestures work explores 'hanging around' with disappearance and loss and the tensions that arise while doing so.
