Choreographies in deep time rhythms: for glaciating bodies
Is it possible to dance with glaciers? If dance is a movement of matter, which (trans)forms the relations between bodies, we are already dancing with glaciers. Within this work, as well as my wider research, choreography is an embodied movement in time and space that creates new possibilities of becoming together. Bodies, be they slippery glaciers or fleshy humans, don’t have clear-cut boundaries but are inextricably intertwined with the wider ecological and material networks, prompting to consider bodies not as separate from but as integral actants within the more-than-human ecologies.
