I have been researching the industrialisation of home, energy, and food production through the concept of body heat, by the measurement of the Calories. I travelled to Iceland to continue this research in a new context and environment, where water is heated by the depth of the earth—rather than by burning hydrocarbons—and explore a new kind of relationship between energy and the human body.
