SÍM Residency artists invite everyone to their event - Open Space opening 27th of June 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, SÍM Barn - SÍM Exhibition hall Korpúlffstaðir, Thorsvegur 1, 112, Reykjavik.

Open Space - a collective project by international artists participating in the SÍM Residency artist-in-residence programme for June 2023.  The works at the SÍM Hlöðuloftið exhibition space will represent the results of research the artists have been working on for the past month or longer. The artists come from various places worldwide and work with different mediums.

18:00 - 18:15 Dance performance by - Alex Elliott - CA /After learning the dark history of the lullaby "Sofðu unga ástin mín", I became mesmerised by the story of Halla and Eyvindur. I am finding an abundance of creative inspiration from the incredible life of Halla, and the play "Fjalla-Eyvindur" by Jóhann Sigurjónsson./
